Vance County Community Foundation announced $7,100 in local awards from its community grantmaking fund on May 31st.

Blue Ridge Orthodontics announced that they will be donating 100% of the profits from their in-house spa services to Mission Children’s Hospital on June 1st.

The first class of Coach Bob Pittard Scholars were given college scholarships thanks to the late Mr. Pittard’s $2.7 million gift to WakeEd Partnership.

The Jane Graham McKay and Katherine Hill McKay Scholarship Selection Committee recently announced $35,000 in scholarship awards to seven Scotland County students.
