Women to Women, a grantmaking endowment at The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro which supports issues relevant to our community’s women and families, has awarded a $10,000 grant to Greenhill’s Learning ART Together program
The Me Fine Foundation announced over $175,000 was raised at their annual gala on September 26th. The Me Fine Gala serves as the non-profit’s annual signature fundraiser, to provide financial assistance and emotional support programs to parents and caregivers whose children are receiving long term medical treatment from Duke and UNC Children’s Hospitals.
David Foster with Waverly Artists Group is making a generous donation of a $1,000 Larry Dean painting to CORRAL Riding Academy. This donation is to assist CORRAL Riding Academy during their Forever Home Campaign.

Durham’s Partnership for Children, a Smart Start Initiative, held its Annual Board Meeting on Thursday, October 15th to elect officers and new Board members to serve for the 2015-16 fiscal year. Karen O’Mansky will serve as Chair of the Board, Cathie Collie will serve as Vice Chair of the Board, and Ilene Britt will serve as Secretary of the Board.
The N.C. Community Foundation and the Catawba Valley Community Foundation hosted the first ever Pop-Up Philanthropy event. The event was held at the SALT Block Foundation and featured discussion of opportunities for collaboration and increased local philanthropic impact with both Foundations and the Unifour Foundation Endowment leadership.

WomenNC will host its annual Fall Reception on November 5th in Raleigh. There will be a meet and greet with Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) Fellowship Alum and WomenNC Board Members, featuring an introduction of the new 2016 CSW Fellowship recipients.
