Six North Carolina counties and state highway patrols will receive a total of $10.5 million in federal grants for 911 system upgrades. The grant recipients include Chatham County, Cumberland County, Currituck County, Davie County, Franklin County, Pender County, and the N.C. State Highway Patrol.
