Westminster College was awarded a $1 million grant from the Richard King Mellon Foundation to support environmental education and research facilities.

The MacArthur Foundation is investing more than $26 million to support organizations that foster economic opportunity and equity and increase peace and safety in Chicago.

Morris Animal Foundation received a $2.3 million legacy gift from the estate of Karl D. Smith, a prominent Denver businessman with a soft spot for animals.

The Kyle Pease Foundation is kicking off a $250,000 capital campaign, the Kona Capital Campaign, to support the foundation as it prepares to take the global stage at the IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
