The Boston Women’s Fund received a $200,000 grant award from the NoVo Foundation.

Jordan Tabach-Bank, founder of The Loan Companies, hands out backpacks filled with school supplies to kids while volunteering at the event.

At its annual Backpack Drive, LIFT-Los Angeles distributed over 200 backpacks filled with education material sand supplies to under-served families and their children.

The Mutual of Omaha Foundation granted more than $1.1 million to 37 nonprofit organizations, including a $75,000 grant for the Women’s Center for Advancement, an organization assisting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking and stalking.

On August 17th more than 3,000 underserved patients received $6.5 million worth of donated dentistry from 300 participating practices at The Smile Generation‘s Smile Generation Serve Day.

Grants and Trustee Fund Awards were awarded to Greenwoods Counseling and Referrals, Waterbury Police Activity League (PAL), and Naugatuck River Revival Group from the Connecticut Community Foundation.

On Saturday, September 14th, the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU in Miami will hold the opening reception for its next exhibit, Art after Stonewall, 1969-1989.
