North Carolina Community Foundation grants are available from the Graham County, Clay County, and Greene County Community Foundations. Additional grants are available from Moore Women, the Catawba Valley Community Foundation, the Carteret Community Foundation, and Pearl’s Pantry Fund. Click here for grant application information.

Jerry Hwang joined the North Carolina Museum of Art Foundation as its chief operating officer.

Christy Thompson was appointed as the Durham Arts Council director of development and communication.

Art Alliance Greensboro hosted their annual Bowl-a-Thon on July 27th and 28th. Local potters made and donated pottery for Greensboro Urban Ministry’s annual Feast of Caring fundraising event, that will be held later this fall in November.

International House in Charlotte will hold its next Global Perspectives panel discussion on youth development and economic mobility Tuesday, August 6th.
