The Gruber Foundation awarded $1.5 million to scientists who have made outstanding contributions to the fields of genetics, neuroscience and cosmology on May 10th.

National Endowment for the Arts gave an Art Works grant of $25,000 to Artivate for Project Youth ArtReach.

Pan-American Life Insurance Group donated $1 million to The National WWII Museum in New Orleans on May 11th.

Suburban Essex Dental will kick off Operation Smile on May 28th, offering free dental care to qualifying veterans thanks to a $50,000 gift from Dr. Paul R. Feldman.

The Moody Foundation made a $15 million gift to help create a new comprehensive breast center at Parkland Health & Hospital System.
