Surgeons of Hope will host its annual ‘One Night for Hope’ Gala on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 7:00-11:00 p.m. at the Essex House in New York City. This year’s gala, emceed by CNN Entertainment Reporter Chloe Melas, will honor American composer Mr. Phillip Morris Glass and include a fashion show by Henry Picado of ESTE & CHLO. The Gala will aim to raise awareness and money for life-threatening pediatric congenital heart conditions that require emergency care and surgery where access to this care is not readily available.

Kraft Heinz launched “Feed Your Family, Feed The World,” on April 25. Through participation at retail stores and on social media, select Kraft Heinz brands will donate up to 20,000 meals each day to Rise Against Hunger. The program runs through May 15.
The Girl Scouts–Arizona Cactus-Pine Council received a $25,000 challenge grant from T.W. Lewis Foundation where for every new gift made at $1,000 and above, the T.W Lewis Foundation will provide an additional $1,000 to the Girl Scouts up to $25,000. The challenge grant funds will help underwrite camperships for girls in the foster care system and support the growth of our social impact programs in Maricopa County, Arizona.
Chem-Dry in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society is helping to raise funds toward Chem-Dry’s goal of donating $25,000 to Best Friends. Efforts will support finding a safe, healthy home for all shelter pets and end homelessness among pets.
