California State University, Fullerton’s Mihaylo College of Business and Economics received its first grant, a $50,000 gift from Mercury Insurance for the Women’s Leadership Program, which provides curriculum and training specifically focused on preparing female students for advancement into top leadership positions after graduation.
The TD Charitable Foundation awarded more than $5.9M in grants to eighteen non-profit organizations supporting affordable housing, financial literacy/health, neighborhood revitalization, economic development, and human service needs in communities from Maine to Florida.
Endangered Species Chocolate recently empowered conservation organizations with its annual GiveBack promise, contributing 10% of its 2017 net profits to wildlife initiatives. Contributions helped launch new species protection programs and saved 1.3 million acres of endangered species’ habitats.

The Eisner Foundation awarded $850,000 through three grants: Turnaround Arts: California was awarded $150,000 over two years in general operating support; The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Los Angeles Harbor was awarded $200,000 over two years in program support to strengthen their intergenerational volunteer program, as well as $500,000 over two years in capital support toward comprehensive facility improvements and a strategic sustainability campaign.
Pilot Flying J raised a total of $981,000 in support of the American Heart Association‘s Life Is Why We Give campaign.

The Young People’s Chorus of New York City hosted their 30th Anniversary Celebration March 5 At Jazz At Lincoln Center. The concert was followed by a celebratory dinner in the Ballroom of the Mandarin Oriental, where YPC honored Michael Fraccaro, Saori Kawano, and Hiroko Onoyama, whose generosity strengthens YPC’s efforts on behalf of New York City’s children.
