Bailey’s Fine Jewelry donated more than $61,000 to local charities in 2016 through the jeweler’s A Time to Give program.

The Kenan Fellows Program for Teacher Leadership at N.C State received a $133,988 grant from the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture.

The North Carolina Museum of Art received a grant from Duke Energy to fund student tours of the Museum’s special exhibition Ansel Adams: Masterworks.

The 24 Foundation will host the inaugural Bourbon for Booty will take place on Saturday, May 6th in Charlotte. 
 
The 14th Annual Fair Housing Conference will be held on April 28th in Raleigh.
 
SHIFT NC is inviting young people from across North Carolina on March 7th in Raleigh for Adolescent Health Advocacy Day. 
 
North Carolina volunteers will team up with the Civil War Trust to aid in the maintenance and restoration of numerous sites as part of Park Day, a nationwide effort that includes more than 130 historic sites in 30 states.
 
The N.C Museum of Natural Sciences, the N.C Wildlife Resources Commission, and N.C State University are collaborating for “NC’s Candid Critters,” a camera trapping project for wildlife. 
 
Keep Durham Beautiful is seeking applications for community gardens who wish to have a pollinator garden and interpretive signage in their garden space. 
 
The Respect Ability Foundation will hold two summer camps via the Davidson and Cornelius Recreation Departments for youth looking for basic techniques in music while building their emotional, social, and leadership skills.

The Great Human Race for nonprofits will be held on April 22nd at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. 
 
Award nominations for the 2017 North Carolina Award are being accepted until April 15th.  
NCCASA Conference Update: Save the Date

NCCASA will hold its 2017 Biennial Conference in Winston-Salem, NC, from Tuesday May 16th – Thursday May 18th.

 
The 2017 Triangle Golf Challenge will be held on June 16th in Durham. The event will benefit The Banks Foundation & Communities In Schools of Durham. 
 
Community Workforce Solutions 2nd Annual Casino Fundraiser will be held on March 4th at the Marbles Kids Museum.
