Hyundai Hope On Wheels has named The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and the University of Florida as recipients of the Hyundai Quantum Grant. Each winning institution will receive $250,000 per year, for four years, to address pediatric cancers with the lowest survival rates.
Hmong American Farmers Association, based in St. Paul, will put a $150,000 two-year grant toward improving the value and well-being of Hmong American farmers.
Latino immigrants will have an opportunity to develop new, or enhance their existing, small businesses through a $300,000 Foundation grant to Ventures, formerly Washington Community Alliance for Self-Help, of Seattle.

On Saturday, February 6th, over 500 celebrities, athletes, philanthropists and other notable guests gathered at the Giving Back Fund’s “Big Game Big Give” red carpet Super Bowl event and fundraiser in Atherton, Ca. The event raised more than $1 million to be distributed to The Stanford Cancer Institute, The Four Rings Montana Family Foundation, The Giving Back Fund and Do It For The Love.
Actress, designer and philanthropist Kristin Cavallari helped kick off the second year of a partnership between Wonderful Halos California mandarins and Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Wonderful Halos is donating another $100,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of America to support healthy lifestyle programming at Clubs around the country.

Angel Faces is looking for adolescent girls with burn/trauma scars to attend their annual healing retreat. This holistic retreat focuses on the psychosocial needs of injured girls. There is no cost to the girls; fees for the retreat are paid by donors to Angel Faces. The deadline for applications is March 15, 2016.
FedEx Corp. unveiled its new global giving platform, FedEx Cares. The company will invest $200 million in more than 200 global communities by 2020 to create opportunities and deliver positive change around the world.
The 7th Annual Avoice Heritage Celebration will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016 in Washington, D.C. The celebration serves as the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Incorporated‘s Black History Month observance and highlights its Avoice virtual library. All proceeds from the event support the library.
