Airstream will match donations up to $25,000 given to the National Forest Foundation to support the Campsite Cleanup Campaign. The campaign will fund clean-up efforts needed to restore and reopen National Forest areas and grasslands after the recent government shutdown.
The Warrior-Scholar Project received $850,000 from the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation to extend the the project’s no-cost, academic boot camps to more enlisted, transitioning, and veteran service members in American colleges and universities.
The Morton Arboretum completed a five-year fundraising campaign, raising $73.9 million to support tree-focused science and research, as well as enhancements to core spaces and facilities. An endowment from the Daniel P. Haerther Charitable Trust will enable the arboretum to continue tree breeding programs around the country.
Community Foundation of Broward awarded $205,000 in grants through their “‘Art of Community” program to Art Prevails Project, Coral Springs Museum of Art, Fort Lauderdale Downtown Development Authority, Fort Lauderdale Historical Society, and the South Florida Symphony Orchestra.
