Social Venture Partners Boston has selected four semi-finalists – My Life My Choice, Room to Grow, uAspire, and 826 Boston – to compete for a lucrative three-year package of financial and volunteer support from the organization. One nonprofit will be selected on Dec. 9 for three years of support that includes $100,000 in unrestricted funds.
On October 27th, the Legacy Foundation celebrated 23 years of service in Lake County, Indiana. president and CEO, Carolyn Saxton announced the Neighborhood Spotlight Grant recipients, which were Griffith and Gary-Emerson neighborhoods which will receive comprehensive technical assistance from the Indiana Association of Community Economic Development and $50,000 in the first year for the cost of a community builder and early action projects.
JCamp180, a program of the Harold Grinspoon Foundation (HGF), hosted more than 450 leaders from non-profit Jewish camps and other organizations during its 11th annual Conference. During the event, top individuals and camps were honored for their growth in managing their daily operations and for their collective efforts in raising $90 million through HGF’s matching challenge grant campaigns to support Jewish summer camps across the country.
