The Hendrick Automotive Group gift will provide funds for new technology and equipment, scholarships for students, and to help recruit and retain expert faculty.

Hendrick Automotive Group pledged $1 million for a new automotive training facility at Wake Technical Community College.

HanesBrands partnered with Delivering Good to donate more than 225,000 pairs of underwear to assist Hurricane Dorian victims in the Bahamas and coastal North Carolina.

The Duke Endowment, the Blue Cross NC Foundation, and the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Foundation will invest more than $35 million combined to increase access to oral health care and improve outcomes in North and South Carolina.

The Arts Learning Community for Universal Access named the three 2019 Betty Siegel Award honorees, including Hilary Leggette of the Gregg Museum of Art & Design at N.C. State University, PineCone’s Courtney Wheeler, and Liani Yirka at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences.

The N.C. Department of Information Technology opened the Network Monitoring and Assistance Center, which will help support an uninterrupted flow of communication for emergency call centers that have adopted next-generation 911 technology.
