The Northern Albemarle Community Foundation and the Women Givers of Northeastern North Carolina announced $25,430 in local awards from its community grantmaking fund on June 26th.

Guilford Green Foundation presented six grants totaling $30,000 to local organizations at the LGBTQ Center of Greensboro on June 29th.

Women United presented two awards of $4,000 each to local initiatives that help women succeed in the workforce and become more self-sufficient on June 22nd.

Carolinas HealthCare Foundation received three grants totaling $1.8 million from The Duke Endowment to support Atrium Health on June 21st.

Community Foundation of Henderson County announced grants over $10,000 each to Appalachian Wildlife Refuge, Blue Ridge Humane Society, and Conserving Carolina on June 22nd.

The board of advisors of the Currituck-Dare Community FoundationMorrisville Community Fund, and Cary Community Foundation are currently accepting grant applications for programs funded from its community grantmaking fund.

The Lucy Daniels Center of Cary received a $408,000 grant from The Duke Endowment to pilot Circle of Security Parenting on June 27th.

Developed by DHIC, Inc., Greenfield Place received full support from the Town of Chapel Hill, Orange County, SECU Foundation, and the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency to bring affordable workforce housing to Chapel Hill.
