Duke Energy Foundation supports relief efforts in ice storm, Beehive Collective RFP, TWC supports STEM program for NC Girl Scouts, and more.

The Duke Energy Foundation has donated $20,000 to the American Red Cross to support storm relief provided during this week’s ice storm that hit the Carolinas.

The Beehive Collective has an open Request for Proposals.  A $2,000 Small Grant will be awarded to a Raleigh nonprofit that addresses women’s empowerment. The deadline is February 27th, click here for more information.

NC State University Chancellor Randy Woodson has announced the creation of the “Our Three Winners” scholarship endowment to honor three exceptional members of the Wolfpack family whose lives were cut tragically short. For more and how to donate to the scholarship, please visit the link.

Time Warner Cable has donate $10,000 in cash to Girl Scouts North Carolina Coastal Pines in an effort to support their STEM program.
